About US
A Shower Is Power is an Ohio-based nonprofit dedicated to restoring dignity and hope to our unhoused community—one shower at a time. We believe that access to basic hygiene is a fundamental human right, and that a clean body can be the first step toward rebuilding one’s life.
OUR MISSION
Our mission is to provide spa-level shower experiences to individuals experiencing homelessness. We offer more than just a shower; we offer a moment of respite, relaxation, and rejuvenation. Our mobile units are equipped with luxurious amenities, creating a serene environment where individuals can feel cared for and valued.
Beyond physical cleanliness, we aim to cultivate a sense of community and well-being. Our showers are a place where individuals can receive essential hygiene products, and access vital resources such as healthcare, job placement, and housing assistance.
We are committed to working collaboratively with other organizations to address the complex challenges faced by the homeless population. By providing spa-level showers and holistic support, we strive to empower individuals to overcome adversity and achieve their full potential.
Join us in our mission to make a tangible difference in the lives of those experiencing homelessness. Your support helps us bring dignity, hope, and a fresh start to our community.
